DDLA Design is a full service Landscape Architecture firm specializing in the design of luxury residential properties. We are seeking an exceptional candidate to join out team and help maintain our commitment to high-quality design and service for our clients. 

Responsibilities to include:

Assist in the preparation of accurate CAD drawings, base plans, graphic plans and renderings.

Ability to develop CD drawing sets including hardscape, water features, construction details, landscape plans, drainage plans & landscape lighting plans.

Ability to create 3D modeling and renderings.

Ability to prepare preliminary plan takeoffs basic estimating to provide budget baselines & prepare bid packages & evaluate bids.

Assist in site visits, field measurements/verification and project photography of new projects and current ongoing construction projects

Providing a professional presence and ability to interact directly (in person and via zoom) with Lead LA, clients and contractors. 

Possess a self-motivated, proactive and detail-focused effort to help the firm maintain a level of excellence in all aspects of our projects. 

Required skills will include:

Proficiency and accuracy in AutoCAD, SketchUP, Adobe Suite - Land FX capability is a plus.

Capability in Lumion or Enscape.

Microsoft Office & Excel

Ideally possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture

Excellent time management skills and ability to manage and prioritize different projects and deadlines.

Basic knowledge of construction methods, materials and landscape plant materials for the Dallas area.

Excellent communication skills in both speaking and writing.
