WE ARE HIRING! LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT/DESIGNER

DDLA Design is upscale Landscape Architecture firm practicing in Dallas, Texas that is seeking to fill an immediate position for experienced, outgoing and talented individual to join our team and help us create exceptional designs and built projects. Candidate will be asked to perform a variety of duties in support of the Principal Landscape Architect and assist in all aspects of the project and design, including 2D CAD drawings, illustrative site plans, 3D models, renderings, construction drawings, details, swimming pool plans, and landscape planting plans. Additional duties would include site visits, field measurements, contractor interaction and will provide an exceptional level of immersion and experience into the design and construction of high-end residential projects in the Dallas area.

What you will be asked to do:
-Digital & hand graphics
-Provide drawing assistance in both 2D & 3D drawings.
-Have experience in the landscape architecture field and in the process of designing, drawing and building landscape projects.
-Be a self-motivated, proactive and have good communication and time management skills.
-Prepare base CAD drawings, illustrative site plans and presentation renderings.
-Prepare accurate and detailed construction drawings in AutoCAD.
-Work and collaborate at an accelerated pace and project tempo. We love what we do and want you to do the same.
-Have excellent design skills and contribute to the design and quality of each project by preparing detailed and accurate drawings.

Skills you will need to have:
-AutoCAD
-Sketchup
-Adobe Creative Suite
-Lumion or Enscape
-Basic estimating, takeoffs and bid analysis.
-Basic Video editing/creation/animation - Final Cut Pro a plus.
-Demonstrate knowledge of hardscape and landscape construction methods.
-Strong knowledge of landscape plant materials.
-Bachelor degree in Landscape Architecture or similar field from an accredited university.
-Proficiency in general computer technology, social media and graphic design.

Candidate will have the opportunity to work in all aspects of the project including client facing meetings and presentations. Good appearance, time management and communication skills are a must. Strong interpersonal skills, sales experience, and a degree and/or experience in horticulture are a plus.

We are seeking to fill this position immediately. Remote and work from home option is available along with flexible hours. Compensation is based on candidate's experience and abilities.
